One of two Banksy murals in Utah in 2010, from around the time he was in town for the Sundance Film Festival debut of his documentary film, Exit Through the Gift Shop. The works initially prompted outrage from people who considered the murals to be unwelcome graffiti.

On 03 January 2014, the work was found covered in brown spray paint after the protective glass had been shattered. Once again, this turned out to be the work of David William Noll. (see Girl Swing) Noll again told the judge that he was suffering from a bout of bipolar disorder when he drove to Park City and damaged the works on New Year’s Eve. However Noll (himself an artist, influenced by the ‘Dutch Masters’) claimed on his Linkedin page “to not stop battling until modern art is destroyed”. Noll was ordered to pay $13,000 in restoration costs in order to avoid a jail sentence. He was also ordered to do 100 hours of community service. After the sentencing hearing, Noll told reporters that he has launched a website to sell T-shirts and other items printed with his own art. He said he would use the proceeds to reimburse his parents for the restoration costs. "My name is already out there, so I figure why not use it to pay back my dad?" 

In 2010, a Banksy canvas featuring the same  praying boy in front of a pair of stained-glass windows was displayed in the window of HMV Oxford Street to coincide with the release of Banksy’s Exit Through The Gift Shop DVD.
